February 2: How, the F, do you talk about the Bible? (F stands for Fathers)

On Tuesday February 2 our topic is “How the ‘F’ do you talk about the Bible?” (F stands for “Fathers”). Our presenter is Dr. Adam Ployd of Eden seminary, a church historian and specialist in early biblical interpretation. He will help us take a look at ancient interpretations of scripture (from the Church Fathers and Mothers) as a tool for how to engage modern questions about the Bible like LGBT inclusion, immigration reform, and women in ministry.

Theology on Tap gathers on the first Tuesday of each month for good food and good conversation. Theology on Tap seeks to create a “low pressure” environment to bring friends for conversations about faith, ethics, politics, and life today. Invite a friend!

Theology on Tap meets upstairs at Dressel’s Pub at 6:30pm on the First Tuesday of each month. Click for a map
